The Ballet Garden is operated by BesterTogether LLC, doing business as The Ballet Garden, of San Clemente, California (“the School”). Please read this before your child’s first class.
ABOUT THE CLASS
Ballet and creative movement are physical activities. Children run, jump, turn, balance, travel across the floor, and take part in group games. Classes are taught gently, in a small group, on a floor chosen for the purpose, and are supervised throughout.
RISKS I ACCEPT
Even so, physical activity carries risk. I understand that my child may trip, fall, collide with another child, or suffer a strain, sprain, bruise, or other injury, and that in rare cases an injury may be serious. I accept these ordinary risks as part of taking part.
MY CHILD’S FITNESS TO TAKE PART
I confirm that my child is in good health and able to take part in physical activity, and that I have told the School about any medical condition, allergy, injury, or need that affects how they take part. I will tell the School promptly if that changes.
WHAT I AGREE TO
In exchange for my child being allowed to take part, and to the fullest extent permitted by California law, I release the School, its owner, its teachers, its helpers, and the owners of the venues it uses from claims for injury, loss, or damage arising from my child’s ordinary participation in class.
This release does not apply to gross negligence, to reckless or willful misconduct, to a violation of law, or to anything else that cannot lawfully be released. It does not affect any right my child has that I cannot waive on their behalf.
SUPERVISION
I understand that my child is in the School’s care only for the duration of their class, that I am responsible for them before and after it, and that an adult I have authorized must remain on the premises during the class unless the School has agreed otherwise with me in writing.
MY AUTHORITY TO SIGN
I am the parent or legal guardian of the child named in this booking, or I have that person’s authority, and I am signing on their behalf. I have read the School’s class terms and conditions and I agree to them.
