Through gentle ballet and creative movement, we nurture confidence, coordination, and joy—always with childhood at the center.
Here, ballet unfolds through stories, nature, beautiful music, and play. There are no exams to prepare for or competitions to win. Just room to discover the pleasure of movement.

Here are some of the themes an eight-week session might hold, each weaving ballet, creative movement, stories, nature, and music into a world children can step inside.
Theme 02
The Secret Garden
Tiptoe beneath leafy arches, wake the sleeping flowers, and find quiet magic among the leaves.
Theme 03
Woodland Waltz
Leap, listen, and waltz through a woodland alive with rustling branches and curious creatures.
Theme 04
Birds in Flight
Stretch wide, rise lightly, and travel on the breeze with wings full of imagination.

Wednesday afternoons. Eight classes at a time.
Three seasons remain after Autumn Leaves closed: Late Autumn, Winter Garden, and Spring Blooms. Class One meets 3:00–3:45 p.m. at La Ventura Event Center.

Tuition
$250 for an eight-week Cycle.
One price, paid whichever way suits your family. Each Cycle is 8 classes of 3:00–3:45 p.m. together, and you only pay for the weeks your child actually dances.
You don’t pay for the months you don’t dance.
Tuition follows the teaching calendar rather than the bank calendar. There is no rolling monthly fee: you pay for a Cycle, across the two months it begins in, and nothing more until the next one. Start with a Cycle and you are charged in eight months of the year and in none of the four below — no winter-recess payment, and nothing at all over the summer.

Meet Jessica Bester
I teach ballet with childhood at the center.
My approach begins with a simple belief: childhood matters.
I qualified as a Cecchetti ballet teacher in 2008 and completed my AIDT Modern teaching qualifications over the next four years. In 2009, I opened a ballet and modern school in Cape Town, South Africa, where I taught dancers from four to sixteen years old.
While leading the school, I choreographed and produced several dance productions, sat on examining panels, and continued to dance and perform myself. At the beginning of 2017, I handed the school over and started a nonprofit focused on teaching dance to children in rural communities just outside Cape Town.
Those experiences shaped the way I teach today. I am especially passionate about the early years—when children are first introduced to dance and a love of movement and expression can quietly take root. I teach gently, leaving room for each little dancer to imagine, explore, and grow in confidence.

Our classes are held at La Ventura Event Center, 2316 S El Camino Real, in San Clemente.

A Gentle Celebration
Celebrating progress. Watching them dance.
In dance, progress is something to notice, share, and enjoy.
Children are never pushed to compete or enter examinations. At the end of every eight-week session, parents and grandparents are invited to watch the class and see the music, movement, and imaginative world the children have explored together.
At the end of the school year, every dancer takes part in our showcase—a gentle, more formal gathering that gives children the chance to experience learning and sharing choreography, and the joy of dancing for the people who love them. It is a celebration, never a measure of achievement.

A little more about beginning, belonging, and what families can expect.
What age groups do you welcome?
We currently welcome children ages three to six. Classes are gently shaped for these early years, with room for each child to begin in their own way.
Can we begin with a trial class?
Yes, and the first class is free. Every family is welcome to one complimentary trial before deciding anything. You can book one against live availability from the classes page, or send me a short inquiry below and I’ll reply personally.
What does it cost?
$250 for an eight-week Cycle, which you can pay in full or split into two monthly payments of $125. There is no registration fee — nothing to pay to join, and nothing to pay again each year.

When and where do classes meet?
Class One meets Wednesdays, 3:00 to 3:45 p.m. at La Ventura Event Center, 2316 S El Camino Real, San Clemente. Class Two at 4:00 to 4:45 p.m. opens when the first is full.
What should my child wear?
Dress like a little ballerina. A leotard, skirt, and tights are welcome, with ballet shoes optional. Dance is a form of expression, so children may choose the colors of their leotard and skirt—every color is welcome, and there is no special uniform families need to purchase.
How do the themed sessions work?
Every eight-week session is inspired by one imaginative world. Stories, music, nature, and creative movement carry children through the theme, with ballet gently woven throughout.
Can beginners join?
Yes. Beginners are welcome. Classes offer a gentle invitation into ballet and creative movement, without tests, competition, or pressure to arrive already knowing the steps.
